Join us for the Pig Pals Swine Show at the 2025 Kenosha County Fair!
Pig Pal exhibitors will have the opportunity to experience showing a pig.
WHO: Youth with a disability between 10-21 years of age. Each exhibitor will be paired with 2-3 4-H members and a pig.
WHEN: Friday, August 15, 2025
Arrival: 4:30 pm – Exhibitor Check In & Receive T-Shirt (Champion Row Swine Barn)
Approximate Timeline: 4:45 pm – 4-H Members and Pig Pal Exhibitor Meet & Greet, and Tour of Swine Barn
5:00 pm – Pig Pal Exhibitor and Pig Meet & Greet and Treats to pigs (Show/Sale Arena Pens)
5:15 pm – Pig Pals Swine Show (Show/Sale Arena)
5:45 pm – Pictures, Return Pigs to pens, Final Treats to pigs and Goodbyes
WHERE: Kenosha County Fair Swine Barn and Show/Sale Arena
The show ring is located in the center of the Show/Sale Arena and surrounded enclosed by a fence to contain the pigs and keep them near the judge.
Pig Pal exhibitors will start with their pig and 4-H members in an individual pen connected to the show ring. There are bleachers surrounding the show ring for spectators to view.
ADMISSION: 2 General Admission Tickets and additional event details will be mailed out prior to the fair.
SHOW ATTIRE: Closed toe shoes, long pants, and Pig Pals T-shirt provided at check in. Shoe covers will be provided if needed.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: This event is limited to the first 10 exhibitors registered based off of postmark date on or before May 15, 2025. All Applicants will be notified of their application status the week of June 2nd.
PLEASE NOTE: There are a variety of activities, lights, sounds and smells at the Kenosha County Fair and in the Swine Barn and Show Ring. Please bring any calming or auditory devices necessary to enhance this opportunity for your participant. Parents and/or guests are encouraged to watch the show from the bleachers and will not be allowed in the show ring during the show, unless for an emergency.
